The Discovery Project – a life changer
Yeovil learning starts
Hoorah! After several false starts and delays owing to lockdowns and Covid restrictions beyond our control, our new programme in Yeovil is launching with face-to-face sessions in March whilst our existing learners will now be able to sit their exam papers in the Sherborne centre.
Local lead for Shaftesbury
We’re delighted to welcome Rebecca Jobling to the team. Rebecca who will lead the new Rendezvous Shaftesbury outreach project is a well-known face in the town and brings with her lots of youth work experience.
Six months with the National Lottery!
Our Covid-19 emergency funding is coming to an end and what a lifesaver it has been. The dedicated National Lottery fund has been invaluable helping us to cover overheads and admin costs for six months.
A community effort
We’re delighted our colleague Sarah has been able to lend a hand with the local Sherborne Covid-19 vaccination programme.
More laptops, more learning
We are extremely grateful to local funders and supporters who have understood the situation created by the coronavirus pandemic and so quickly leapt to our aid, with crucial donations for laptop computers.
